Elaine Tomlin, Artist & Designer
Based in Dublin, Elaine Tomlin is a highly regarded artist and interior designer with over 20 years of painting experience.
Specialising in acrylics, Elaine draws her inspiration from the natural beauty of Ireland, particularly the breathtaking landscapes of County Wicklow. Her artistic process merges her keen design sensibilities with her creative flair, resulting in tranquil and captivating paintings and limited-edition prints. Her gentle and calming use of color tones has often been described as a soothing balm for the soul.
Elaine’s work celebrates the essence of nature, with abstract landscapes inspired by the serene woodlands, shimmering lakes, and picturesque beaches of Brittas Bay, Glendalough, and Laragh.
By incorporating feedback from her clients, Elaine expertly aligns her artwork with contemporary interior design trends, offering bespoke commissions and prints that harmonise effortlessly with modern color palettes and décor styles.

In 2022, Elaine was approach by Curator Paints to become involved in a wonderful project to create their new collection of paint colours inspired by Irish craftspeople, artists and designers.
Afternoon Aspen, was the inspiration for the beautiful Curator paint colour "Woodland Light"
This collaboration resulted in the creation of a paint color "Woodland Light" that encapsulates the serene woodland ambiance woodlands, offering a touch of Irish tranquility to interior spaces

In 2022, Curator Paints, an Irish company, collaborated with local artists and designers to create unique paint colors inspired by Ireland's rich cultural heritage.
Elaine Tomlin, a Dublin-born artist and interior designer, was selected by Curator Paints for her distinctive abstract works that capture the essence of Ireland's natural beauty.
Her piece, "Afternoon Aspen," draws inspiration from the interplay of light and shadow within the birch forests County Wicklow, particularly around Glendalough and Laragh.
